STNG WHL-LEATHER R (RACING) - I take it this is the flat bottom wheel?

I am pleased to announce I have put a deposit down on the car listed above It had everything I was looking for and more There are light scratches on the driver & passenger windows (I heard this is a common issue) but the res of it was in brilliant condition so I thought it's too good to let slip. I will be picking it up next week after the wheels have been refurbished, M.O.T., machine polish etc. Feel like a kid at Christmas (pictures will following)

Well I have had the car for a week now and wow. What a machine. The sound is second to none and I'm in love. The spec is huge. I haven't put any pictures on yet as I was going to wait for my V5C to come through so I can throw my plates on but I'm hearing that the DVLA are taking forever to send the paperwork through. I know it should be 4 weeks but Im wondering what are the realistic times? I know I can post the V5C/2 off with the plate cert and another form (cant remember the name off the top of my head) but not sure if this will take even longer.

My V5C came through in about a week, as it's all done online and presumably gets produced automatically. You can also do the plate change online too, which is also pretty instant (once you have the V5 on your name).
Anything by post is where the delays happen, from what I've read

Happy days. When did you buy yours? If it's in the next few days I'll be happy.mickjaguar wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 6:38 pm My V5C came through in about a week, as it's all done online and presumably gets produced automatically. I bought mine a little over 3 weeks ago, so it should be similar for you if your transfer was done online.
I received an email confirmation of my trade in ( I did that online too) immediately and the tax refund cheque came about 10 days later.

Well as promised here are a few pictures of the new whip
I only got the plates on today so I got the car cleaned and went for a quick blast round the Trough of Bowland (only down the road). It was a little overcast so the pictures are a little dark but at least it gives you an idea
BTW I had just cleaned the car but one of the first road I got to had loose chippings on so immediately the car was covered in dust
I'm so happy I managed to get the exact spec (and allot more) that I wanted and glad I didn't rush into it. That sodding Peugeot 107 tested me at times but now that's a distant memory. I have been in the car for a couple of weeks and never thought it would get as much attention as it does. The Monte Carlo M3 did turn heads but this is a different level. I had 5 different people approached me a various points of me trying to pay for fuel yesterday
The car has only done 33,000 miles with 2 previous owners (I expected more since quite a few V5Cs had been issued) and the advert for the car when it was up for sale at 830 miles was included in the paperwork. it was up for £95500 at the time. I imagine it was a loaded ex-demo with it being sold at 830 miles. Would love to know how much the optional extras were

Pictures look lovely. The 107 is an ideal winter car! I had a fiat 500 with 117k on the clock,. It confused the hell out of people at work because they couldn't reconcile that it was the same person driving the cars as they were so different .
