I spent the last 2 days travelling from Glasgow to Oxford and back. 32.4mpg average.
Helped by the constant roadworks and average speed sections.

Looks a great car and I wouldn't worry about the wing, looks fine. I have seen similar up close on a car here and it wasn't so pronounced when you look at the overall car.Edinburgh75 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 6:59 pm Thanks for the comments everyone.
I was a little concerned with the rear wing looking a bit chav but then I can't do anything about it and it isn't that big up close. The only annoying thing is that the Jaguar badge is hidden underneath it so its strange that they still fit it there at all.
According to the garage, they now think it might be 12 months to get a new car from ordering. I can't believe its that bad. They are worried in case someone buys the new 450 Reims in the showroom because there isn't anything to replace it.
The time is exactly why I bought a showroom model rather than order. When I asked about ordering they told me 6-7 months if the order gets picked up in the UK in the next batch, otherwise they didn't know when. So grabbed a car that was sitting in a showroom for a couple of years unused but they wanted to shift as the new light design was released so they couldn't use it anymore. Went for the 4 because I use it daily like you, but hindsight could have gone the 6 really as it wouldn't have made a great deal of difference, but still happy as find having driven the 8 and the 4, while the 8 has a lot of that real enjoyment of sound and acceleration, the 4 is a little better balanced in my opinion and some fun to drive in the twisty roads as the gearbox is fantastic for an auto.

Congratulations, a lovely looking car; I’m sure you’re still smiling!
I did the exact opposite journey last week (Oxford to Glasgow and back) and only managed 29.8 mpg. V impressed you’ve managed 32+ !

Beautiful stunning choice, those wheels certainly set the package off. As to fueling it, it’s smiles per gallon and not miles that you’re paying for. The price of fuel varies so much, within five miles from where I live it goes from £1.33 to £1.49 per ltre, which is considerable on a fill up.
Enjoy your new beast.

Absolutely stunning! Congratulations. I remember seeing this one on Autotrader being local (well Scotland). Like many, I wasn't convinced when the facelift first came out, but the P575 bumper changes makes a big difference over the P450, much more aggressive.
Being selfish, I hope it's a depreciation bomb! Enjoy!
