Looking for a V8 awd

Have been looking at the classifieds last month or two , not taken plunge yet , aware of various problems with the model and don't want to get a lemon , will keep looking and hopefully get a good one. If anyone on here knows more about what to watch out for regarding recalls , rust on cross braces , leaking diffs , not all of them do this no doubt , then let me know .

Maybe dealer prices are on the way down soon? Motorway just dropped their valuation of mine by £7,000 - not selling anyway, just interested.

A friend came round yesterday in his silver f type v8 awd coupe and took me out in it and showed me the size of the boot and how things worked , so have a much better idea of the car . I did expect it to be slightly louder on the open flaps exhaust setting , in fact it seemed quite civilized . he booted the v8 down a long empty straight to show the acceleration , impressive .
Difficult to not stare at his f type , a stunner in silver .

Maybe the flaps weren't working on his jag as I wouldn't call it civilized when there open. Especially once you put your toe down

Just checked the official decibel rating for an f type v8 - 84.4 on full throttle . ( my Mog v8 bmw engined side pipes are 98 - measured by Morgan dealer, ok side pipes are louder and closer and system shorter but i've got used to that as loud )
