So a week in and I just love the F Type experience my old Benz was a nice car but the Jag is just something else .
But guess what drivers side window was replaced because of some deep scratches .1 st time I lowered the window nice deep scratch on the brand new glass !!!!!!!!! Having looked at some of the history on the forum mines a 2016 car has this issue ever been resolved ? The dealer has agreed to swap both windows and change the door seals. Any information before the job is done would be much appreciated. Did I say I just love the car :D

The window seals were altered around 2016, so should be less liable to retain grit. Although I think it can still happen to a lesser degree as my 2019 car has some very light scratches if you look really closely.

With new seals you should be OK. I didn't have more scratches after mine were changed, over the following 5 years.

It's also worth periodically droppng the windows and making sure the seals are uncontaminated.

Lovely car, BTW, but I'm not telling you anything you don't already know! ;)
