Not that it really changes anything, but I got a bit more info today about this car
5 owners, not the 2 as I thought I’d been told.
Because the owner contributed to the engine replacement it comes with a 2 year warranty.
Glad I got the 5 owners right, always tricky interpreting the history.
So the previous owner paid 17 grand (of a 22 grand bill)... I'm just repeating that to myself... £17,000!! and then got rid after paying that (why? - it's hardly cutting your losses!) and now it has a leaky diff, no MOT, missed last service and off the road.
Hope I am wrong. But that is car 22000 and is a Copart special if you Google the complete VIN.
The picture is copyrighted but as it appears on Google I'll post it and admin/mods can remove if required. Anyone with the VIN could google and find it.
May be 7 years old with 3000 miles but according to service info it only had its 1st oil change last year.

Wow. A great surprise for the next owner.
Exactly, the Indie has stated the previous owner sold it to them due to a change of circumstances and wasn’t in the market for another sports car, I wonder why

I for one are shocked by the facts that simple R has found out regarding this car , I knew the guys in the former Motherwell jaguar dealership and knew them well , it has changed in the last 3 year to be a jlr dealership and now is just a LR dealer , how they would take this junk on :!:
I think you have probably saved me from myself, so thanks for that.
I’m going to view another black one tomorrow in Lichfield and next week a white one in Newcastle, as per usual the Autotrader ads only give a certain amount of information
If it was Cat D, then it would normally have been as a result of a crash, a flood or vandalism. So it has been written off (and an assumption that the owner got the insurance). Did he then pay for a replacement engine, and then sold car on to make a profit?
