Worth looking into ?
Eh, please be careful with recommendations.

Hope I am wrong. But that is car 22000 and is a Copart special if you Google the complete VIN.

The picture is copyrighted but as it appears on Google I'll post it and admin/mods can remove if required. Anyone with the VIN could google and find it.

May be 7 years old with 3000 miles but according to service info it only had its 1st oil change last year.

EDIT - Advert does say Cat D so picture is OK.
Yep saw this one on Autotrader, almost identical to the other one and a perfect match for what I’m looking for, but not with the insurance tag

Thats why I deleted the post shortly after as its a cat D , there are many F's on here which on further viewing are not that exciting .

I know this is the wrong section, but I think I may have found a car so could anyone point me in the right direction with regard to insurance?

When I had the TVR it was the likes of Flux, Mannings, Classic Line etc........are there Jag specialists?

Hopefully in the next week or so, I can finish this thread with a thank you and a photograph

Thanks Joe, I’ll be interested to see what the numbers look like, I think TVRs must get specIal treatment by the insurance companies, my 420bhp Cerbera 4.5 with zero safety features/driving aids was only £350 p/a limited to 5000 miles

Edit to say 420 was TVR’s number, it was probably more like 380

I think the lowish quotes for TVR's were maybe due to people not driving them that much compared to mainstream dull sports cars . The F is a bit more driver friendly but still a very special toy . I have used my non specialist Ins. co and found if I keep the quote for 3k miles its a lot less than 5k unless you might drive her more .....
Have been in the passenger seat of a friends Cerb a long time ago and yes , a bit of a handful but suprisingly well behaved with good tyres .

Their quote is pretty good, in the top five, just a bit steep on the compulsory excess!

Me too, half the price of Admiral's renewal. Still expensive, though.

What a day!

A 400 mile round trip, 3 trains, then a great drive home in the new car

In an ideal world, I would have bought from a reputable dealer, but currently and for quite a few months now, there’s been nothing for sale that really caught my eye (apart from the one with a new engine), but the plan was to definitely get a V8R Coupe.

So two weeks ago a V8S Convertible caught my eye, it had been on Autotrader for about half an hour, 2 owners, full JSH, good colour, de-chromed with great alloys, a brief conversation with the owner told me that it had been loved, he’d spent £1400 having it ceramic coated last Autumn and had barely driven it since.

Thanks to the owner Adam, I think he has frequented these pages and to all on here offering advise, which has been gratefully received, if not actually followed!
