Hi,

Traded in my iPace today. Absolutely loved the car, but had it for 3 years and fancied a change. The only electric I fancied was the Taycan and I couldn't justify the expense. So, I've bought myself a 2018 P380 R-Dynamic AWD which I take possession of tomorrow.

I've had an aubergine XK8 rag top, an XK coupe and an XKR before. Turned my nose up at the F Type a few years back, owing to the boot size (or lack of) but have finally decided to give it a go. It felt odd driving something I could hear and feel today on the test drive and I think it will take a while to get used to the 8 speed box forever changing gear when I've just done 37,000 miles in the same gear, with no noise, just loads of grunt!

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to getting out in it. :D :D

Welcome!
That’s quite a change then for sure.
I’m assuming, in the current climate, you got yourself a doubly good deal with a swap like that.
You surely have to agree that pressing the start button will come with a lot more theatre and a smile each time now 😎
Looking forward to the photos once you get your new cat.

Welcome to the club! I worked up to my F-Type via a 2001 XK8, 2004 XKR and 2010 XKR so a similar journey to yours, apart from the EV. Enjoy!

Can't blame you, I've yet to see a production EV that actually looks good.
Also price of electricty is rising a hell of a lot faster than the price of petrol.

I am fortunate to have a ipace and Ftype. My mates call me 2 jags.

My reply to them is I thought Borris said we must all get double jagged.

Ipace as a daily via work. Really practical stress less to drive unless charging issue on a longer journey. But has no soul.

Ftype for fun and smiles.

If a choice of one it would be Ftype
