Good morning everybody!

I am the v v v proud owner of a 2017 F Type R. I have been on the look out for a while, got a good trade in value for my Focus RS Mk2 and picked up "Jessy" on Friday.

I am super happy, I'm the 4th owner of this beautiful car, anyone on here had it previously?

I live down near Looe in Cornwall if there is anyone close to me?

Random Q, I had the car washed and whilst I was sitting in it it was beeping away sometimes, do they have proximity alarms?

Cheers!

Could it be that the car was unlocked and when the guys were washing it they made contact with the door handles and that could have caused the beeps?

If the car is unlocked with the keys in it (or far from the car) and you try to lock it by closing the handles (from the outside) it will make a beep noise.

Congrats on the new car. Fabulous colour, looks mint!
Could get a black grill surround or wrapped black to tie into the rest of the trim.
Enjoy, nice part of the country.

Thanks Tjp! Already planned to wrap the silver bits around the doors and the front grill, much prefer the look of the black pack!

Nice car - love the colour. Remember you asking me on the RS forum about the gearbox etc. So you obviously took the plunge .
Were you sorry to see the RS go or was it time - I know prices are holding on them .
Couldn’t bring myself to part with mine TBH.

Enjoy

Hi Phil!

Yes, I reluctantly went for it :D

I was sorry to see the RS go, but this obviously is a whole different ball park. It's such a nice car to drive, I am very lucky. Defo not as easy to live with, it's much wider in the Cornish lanes and it can't carry what a Focus can! But so far, I love it.
