I've found the jlr service history to be cloudy at best. I've just had a jlr/Aston specialist do the rear diff oil as it wasn't specced on the service history. They were able to update the online record even though they are an independent

Any VAT registered garage can update the service record. If they cannot or won’t for any reason you can send copy of the evidence to JLR and they will update you OSH. I’ve done it for several Indy services.paddy1000111 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 17, 2023 6:20 am I've found the jlr service history to be cloudy at best. If an item is missed in the record that was actually completed they can add to the service record.

I have a November 2016 (MY17) V6S with nearly 96k miles on it and I've had zero issues with it in the year I've had it so far. Not a single rattle or squeak. Like others have pointed out, it's about history and documentation.
