Audio issues

Hello everyone,

I was delighted to discover this forum and I hope that, in the future, I can contribute to discussions.

A couple of months ago I bought an immaculate Cadera Red 2.0 litre F Type Coupe on 15,000 miles. I am really impressed with the car and comparing it with Mercedes SL and Porsche 911 that I have had in the past find that it is a much better machine.

I hope that the more knowledgeable members of the forum can give me some guidance on playing Amazon music from a Samsung mobile. Have got as far as seeing the song and cover on the screen, the song is playing but I just can’t get any sound. Photos of the screen are attached which will hopefully give an idea of the problem.

Which system do you have (base, 380W Meridian, Meridian Surround)? Can you get sound from other sources (radio, satnav, etc)?
Personally, I just put my tracks on a USB stick and play them that way.

Does the volume on the handset itself need to be turned up? Some Blueteeth are a bit finicky with things like that

I've put my iTunes library onto a USB drive. No issues.

Thanks for your reply. It’s a Meridian system, 380W I think on Harmon Kardon base. I can get sound from the radio and sat nav perfectly.

Think I’ll follow your idea and download to a USB stick.

The 380W system is just badged "Meridian", the 770W system has "Surround" on the badges.

They are tiny so do not stick out much. That way it would be difficult to break off in the compartment.

That's a good tip. I use one of those tiny sticks a well, although I mostly stream from Spotify. Not sure about cars of this particular model year but in my facelift car with ICTP a nice feature is that you can play lossless formats from the USB stick.
