We all have our crosses to bear! Hope the fog wasn't too bad for you!
:P

There isn't that much fog to be honest, but it is a wee bit chilly at times. That's why I moved South to the North West of England :D

I think this will display if clicked. It's my car at the detailers. I use a lovely chap called Matt Phillpot, who owns 'Magic Detail' and he has done several (all BMW) cars for me. Great service and super friendly. Apparently the F Type is a bit of a mare to PPF, as the bonnet requires a huge roll width to accommodate the clamshell nature of it. Anyhoo, picked it up today and enjoyed looking at it....before it starts to rain tonight and it will never look so clean ever again :)

Nice. Apparently, the bonnet is the largest aluminium pressing in the industry. Or was when the F-Type was released.

The car just came back from the detailers (the excellent Matt Phillpot at Magic Detail - he's done several cars for me over the years. Top chap :) ) and Matt said he had to scrap the original PPF for the bonnet as it was wider than the standard roll (60" width) and luckily had some 72" width PPF which is the what's needed.

At least the car looked nice for a few hours...bring on the rain :(

Yes, think then trumped by Porsche Macan in 2014.

Funnily enough, matt the detailer mentioned that the F Type was the worst bonnet he'd done since the Macan
