Hello ... Dad had a heart attack Friday .. so I am at Leeds hospital, he seems to be recovering well

The advert was a knee jerk reaction so will remove the advert this week, as getting silly offers from traders and total time wasters from the general public .. so the last thing on my mind is selling the car currently

going for a Ford Kuga as good value for money ....

and on top of all this got caught speeding (41 in a 30) getting to the hospital .. plus I have a toothache ... so not my week currently

Sad news, I have elderly parents and know your predicament, could be worth looking at a Honda CRV Diesel, reliable car people are getting ride do diesels so prices have crashed.

If you can keep your car they are great stress relievers.

So my 2p worth
Firstly - sorry to hear your family issues. Hope all works out well

Had similar issue 4 years ago. Father had heart attack and we needed car for what started as transport for elderly father and mother and eventually live in carer.
Went for a Ford B Max. Cheap and sliding door made easy step in access. Can carry wheelchair and mice everyone around. Wind forward 4 years and it’s still doing a great job. Sadly just for mother, but works well and I still drive impractical cars :)

Best wishes to your family, hopefully this is temporary bad luck and things will turn positive very soon. I second the comment about cars as stress relievers - my commute banishes my work hassles; more so if I take a sneaky detour through some twisty Peak District roads

It sounds like things are looking up and glad your Dad seems to be on the mend.
At least 4 hours on a "naughty boys" course for the speeding shouldn't be too painful.
Still no sign of a V8 XE yet I'm afraid.
It seems the next thing with a V8 will be the Fat-Pace SVR and I know you would never go there!!

Chin up Bud!
