Hi all, I now have my plate JA66 GUR on retention and for sale, it's been valued at £3500 and is being advertised for sale at that price on internet but I'd take £2500 from another forum member, call me if interested on 07803 614649

If it's been valued at 3.5K ( I guess that's a 'Regtransfers' value?) take it quickly and run!

Realistically, you'd be lucky to sell it at such a high price as it doesn't really do much unless your initials are GUR.
JA66UAR was less than half that to buy initially.

They just aren't that 'Cherished' as some people may think - good luck though.

This is the legacy of having a vehicle-related private plate instead of your name/initials. With the latter, you just pay DVLA £80
and transfer to your new vehicle.
However, a friend had DB53DBS on his Aston DBS, which did make sense.
Just my opinion.
