Bought but never fitted. Car now sold. The key benefit is the ability to open and close the roof with your remote, comes in really handy! Then the ability to have one touch on the in-car roof switch, no need to sit there holding the button to open and close the roof, great when trying to do so while driving. You can also change the direction of the switch and determine the behaviour of the windows in relation to the roof operation.

Really easy to fit, comes with a plug and play harness. Literally can be fitted in minutes.

Great module and don't undersell the features as it also controls the exhaust valves for start-up (open, closed or memory) and the ECO stop start
Potential buyers should check the manual to see exactly what each setting option is

I’m interested in this. Am I right in thinking for later cars (mines a MY18) all of the button presses were reversed or something a bit weird, but they issued some new firmware that sorted it out?

I vaguely remember something about switch inversion and there is mention of it back in 2015 in the changelog, but ti was completely rewritten in 2018 to a new V2.0

I’ve had someone message me on Facebook about the Smarttop. They’ve asked about the Eco mode. Anyone know what the function is here?

Would it be to disable the stop/start function (that'd save wear on the button!)?

Yes looks like that is one of it's capabilities And the ability to start up with exhaust valves shut

Looks like it still has issues on later model cars.
