Registration S1FTP on retention
Now that my F type is on new hands (and often mentioned on this forum!), I still have the registration S1FTP - series 1 F Type on retention. It just doesn't ring true on the replacement Volvo estate and so I'm offering it here for £599 ono

It's a nice plate for a F-Type S, but already got my own plate : )
Hope you're still enjoying the Volvo and not missing the F-Type too much

Very different cars! The Evora has to be one of the best handling cars I’ve driven. It was a Lotus development car and so it came to me minus a lot of bits! Took a few weeks to bring back to road worthiness but well worth it!Stuno1 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 20, 2021 9:17 pmHow did you find the ftype compared to the Evora?matlockscot wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 3:42 pmStop rubbing it in![]()

Personally I prefer the looks of the Jag, the Jag also edges it on sound (but not by much). Not much to choose from a practicality point of view but the Jag is definitely better finished inside - the Lotus is a bit Halfords catalogue internally.

The S1FTP reg would definitely look better on another F Type as well!

For a B road blast and to cover A to B, yes the Lotus was better and quicker but as I said, very different cars for different occasions!Stuno1 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 21, 2021 3:19 pmThanks. Cheers. I owned an Evora s sr and am looking at a ftype r. I am expecting the jag to be more of a luxurious GT that can handle B roads where as the lotus was a sports car that could handle touring. Thanks for your thoughts.
