Hi folks, I am looking to buy one of two cars at the start of July. I like buying cars from other car enthusiasts so get in touch if you have one you are looking to move on. Not too fussy on colour but white is my preference.

1.F-type v8 r - up to 39k
Must haves:
- Coupe
- Black pack
- Panoramic roof
- Full jag service history
- Under 35k miles

Nice to haves:
- Carbon fibre blade wheels
- Jag extended warranty

2.F-type v6s RWD - up to £35k
Must haves:
- 2016 onwards
- Active sports exhaust
- Sports seats
- Coupe
- RWD
- Black pack
- Panoramic roof
- Full jag service history
- Under 35k miles
- Basically as many options as possible!

Nice to haves:
- Carbon fibre blade wheels
- Jag extended warranty

Cheers

Stuart

With your up to pricing guide you might be struggling against your must have requirements.

1.F-type v8 r AWD - up to 39k
To meet the majority of requirements you'll be at £46k or higher. To get FJSH and options you'll be around £49k+.
To get below £39k you'll be looking at the 2013 488bhp v8s or 2014 RWD R, 70,000 miles + or a combination with no FJSH.

2. F-type v6s RWD - up to £35k
To meet the majority of requirements you'll be at £36.5k or higher. To get FJSH and options you'll be around £38k+.
Don't discount main dealers as they come with 1yr extended warranty (or 2yr if you banter) and should be sub £40k with everything you want.

I've looked at Jaguar finance and used car valuations and over the next 20 weeks, Jaguar are expecting their used stock to decrease in value. For example:

If current valuation is £36,531 and remains in stock and unsold then it will be reduced to:
- £35,800 in 4 weeks
- £35,069 in 8 weeks
- £34,339 in 12 weeks
- £33,608 in 16 weeks
- £32,877 in 20 weeks

This is guide line ONLY and is based on the cars purchase price (so being unsold) but if used prices remain strong then that might not happen of course.

Thanks and agree. I might be 2 months too late! I’ll see what is out there for the v8 as that is my preference.

This is the issue. This was advertised privately at 41k. It has now been hoovered up by a dealer and relished at 46k.

Yes, dealers are actively buying cars to get them into used approved. A dealer even posted on here a while back asking for cars and I've had to two calls asking if I would sell (not buy one, just sell mine to the dealer).

Good luck with success with your search.

For the V6 you do mean the (base) Sports “Porsche shape” seats and not the optional Performance ones?
MY14 "S" badged V6 Convertible in Lunar Grey metallic
Performance seats, Meridian, heated flat bottom wheel with aluminium paddles, heated front screen, cruise, dual zone climate, switchable active exhaust

Jaguar finance have updated their pricing.
First month used prices have dropped in many months after going up on average 900 a month.
Down £105 on previous month.

Thank you for that info. I have noticed more cars hanging around and more available where as 3 weeks ago they were being snapped up in days.
