Messages sat in outbox

Messages sat in outbox

Ok must be being thick here, When I write a message and submit it they just seem to sit in the outbox, what am I missing here.

I think it stays there until the recipient reads it
V6 coupe, Ultimate Black, 19" propellor wheels, suede cloth performance seats, interior black pack, suede cloth headlining, flat bottom steering wheel, heated seats, power tailgate
