Is it me?
Over the years, I've uploaded countless photo's onto various media but yours has me stumped!
I go on to 'Edit Avatar', click to upload from my device, Browse, highlight the image, submit then get a message saying "The Avatar must be between 0 and 6KiB.
I don't even know what a KiB is & I don't have 6 of them!
Help!

KiB is a kilobyte, and refers to the size of the file you're uploading. Your avatar also has to be a maximum of 90 pixels by 90 pixels, so if you resize your image (with your favourite editing software) to that size the file size should be well below 6KiB.

Good luck, and welcome to the forum!

90*90=8100.

I've just uploaded an avatar (90*50), but had to change the colour depth to 256 to get below the 6kb limit.

I got fed up - brought in my Daughter who has much more patience than me.
I'm an engineer - if I can see how it works, I can fix it. Computers - blah!!!
Thanks for the advice.

It is quite a small size I must admit but glad you got sorted.

Thanks
