Well the XES is a v6 supercharge .. ether 340 or 380 bhp now, we are just waiting for the XES awd

But I am sure the 2.0 will be fine ... at least mine is not the base model now :D

I meant XEs (plural) not the XES sorry! As in, it sounds like a normal car, not a sports car

just to add to this conversation - I've been driving a Porsche 911 991.2 for the last 6 months (i'm returning to a Jag in Sept this year) and i can confirm the stated economy figures for the ''smaller'' turbo charged engine (in this case its a 3 litre compared to the previous gen naturally aspirated 3.8 i think) are on a different planet to reality. Stated figures 37 mpg average - reality (and most of my driving is average 50 mile per hour) 28 mpg !!!

Compare that to me previous f type (340 coupe) - stated figure was 32.9 (i think) and i was getting 30 - much nearer.

The new 2.0 turbo with 300 hp is of real interest to me.

However that is when it is under the bonnet of the new E-pace ๐Ÿ˜‰ Might be a good everyday car when we swap out our old Ford.

Totally agree with you Arne - wait until they get them fully sorted and then I'll be replacing my old Ford too with the 2.0 Epace. I was going to wait for the IPace but 300BHP in a petrol powered unit will do nicely. I'll be keeping my F-Type though :D

We have done similar, taking delivery of an XER Sport in about 6 weeks time. It's the 250 model though, the 300 came out after we placed the order. There is not much difference in performance and we didn't want to pay the extra tax as it takes it over the 40k. It's to replace my wife's TT. Keeping the F Type.
