Hi tell
badges look great, finally got mine back and fitted. Had them done by wicked coatings they replaced the double sided tape which made it easier to fit.

Nice work on the exhaust tips ... you say that youre letting the inside soot but to my eyes, and given the high standards you keep the car too, I actually like the look of the clean inside to the tips, for me it suits the car really well ...
Storm Grey V6 coupe, fun, fast, popping and crackling with smiles all the way ... missed more than I expected!

Excellent - Wicked Coatings did mine as well, and I'm very pleased with the result.
I bought a roll of 3M special badge tape and cut round the letters myself, which was both therapeutic and tremendously taxing at the same time! I wouldn't recommend that to anyone, but a good learning curve nonetheless.
Out of curiosity, did WC charge extra for the tape?

They charged me £98+vat and carriage and didn't mention the tape .I assumed they would come back bare. I called them and I'm sure the chap said they make up a template. The tape is a 3m product the same as you used.

...same as I was charged, except I had to do the tape bit which was...tedious!

Hey Tel - can you point me to the product you used to shrink wrap the exhaust? Done some google searches but seems a minefield.
What is the permanent solution you considered?
Thanks for the offer by the way - very nice of you ;)

What I used is heat resistant 4'' (102mm) heat shrink. I stubbled to find one that would shrink down enough and still be resistant to the heat generated on the exhaust tips. They get too hot to touch when you roust it!
I have searched for the company that supplied mine, but they seem to have gone down the pan!

The other option is to grind the spot welds that secure the tips to the rear silencer box, and send them off to be black chromed. This seemed a bit too invasive for me right now.

Hi Tel
Just wondering if I could maybe trouble you for a couple of pictures of those front wheel spats please?
Thanks
