Hi All

Looking to buy some rubber floor mats to use over the winter, has anyone bought the OEM ones or found decent after market ones?

Cheers

Hi,

I have the OEM rubber mats for occasional winter use. They are a perfect fit as you would expect but there are plenty of aftermarket ones too. If you decide to buy some a top tip is to make sure you get the correct ones as the floor pan design changed when the AWD models came out.

Thanks for the reply :D

I've managed to find the OEM ones for £60 delivered, I would rather go with OEM as the fitment tends to be better. I had noticed that some stated not for AWD, but the ad for these doesn't, think I will drop them a message before ordering.

Hi,

Yes the ones on the link are the correct fitment for RHD pre 16MY F-Types. Exactly the same as the ones I have and they fit perfectly. Nice quality too being OEM and you get the Jaguar logo on them. The only slight issue with them is that the logo ingot is riveted on and the bottom of the rivet leaves a mark on the carpet! I put some felt under that part and it takes care of the problem nicely. To be fair, they rivet the logo onto the OEM carpet mats too but a bit of felt wadding underneath stops marks getting onto the original carpet.

I have the OEM ones for my R AWD and they are great - however I actually have Michelin ones from costco which are better! You buy a set of 4 but only end up using the fronts. I used the rears around the "wings" of the boot around the sides of the boot mat that I also bought in costco. Total cost for car mats and boot mat was about £30.

Any chance you could post a photo of the Michelin mats in place in the car

Thanks

Try Car Mats UK. OEM are the usual Jaguar aftermarket rip-off.
