Hello

was on the FTYPE configurator today and just playing like you do .. make believe builds

and I noticed the following

1. Tinted windows now available
2. The large 10 Inch infotainment screen fitted
3. full seat control with lumbar on base entry models as a option
4. full colour mood lighting like the XE (ten colour choices)

Like the 10 inch infotainment screen .... had that on my XE S

You lot still get BRG too!

It really mistifies me why JLR have so many differences between the costing of options which appear in different models across the ranges.
I know I have the "Repmobile" but a lot of the kit is the same.
You have to pay £420 for the Configurable Dynamics screen on the pro. £470 for a powered tailgate, flashy pedals - £155, red brake calipers - £320 and the most weird of all having to pay for heated seats - £370 ???
All of this is standard with the XE S.
But you get the ICTPro 10" screen infotainment as standard whereas on the XE it's about a grand extra so swings and roundabouts I suppose.
With the 10" pro you should also get some marvellous new features such as a G Meter !!!
It convinces me the designers at JLR should get off their play stations and back into the real world.

the new updated F Type gets more colours and the updated 10 inch screen .. check the latest brochure

Thanks kaspa but, it was PhilB's comment regarding the G meter that prompted my question. It read (to me) as though a G meter was something new whereas my 3 year old car has this feature.

My point was that as the F-Type now gets the Pro 10" screen and a configurable dynamics screen if it's added as an option, then the G Meter is an extra on that screen as well as stopwatch etc etc.
You may have had it for several years but I was talking about the new Pro screen and it's features.

My F Type only 6 months old ... does not come with this feature so probably only available to the higher end models .. but now standard ?
