Knowing what I know now I went over my wife’s new F Pace with a fine toothed comb. The panel fit was perfect. I didn’t check my F Type so thoroughly as, coming from a Porsche, I never even dreamt of panel imperfections. Don’t get me wrong, I do like Jags and it was my wish to buy a prestige British car when the Germans were making threats over Brexit! So far, mechanically and performance wise they’ve been excellent.

I’m not one to be ‘outraged of England’, but I find it astounding that 5 years into production a premier brand could put a car like that on the showroom floor
It’s inconceivable that German or dare I say even emerging brands would accept this level of fit and finish
2014 MY 3.0 V6S Roadster
Subtle enhancements to create the car I wanted from SVR nose cone, 400 series side skirts & customised 'design' rear bumper, to heated SVR steering wheel and more

I know ... and just look at the price of the car in the pictures

Even my partners dads I20 Hyundai has very good panel fit .. I really do wonder at times with Jaguar, and this is exactly the reason we have held off buying another Jaguar .. we was thinking of buying a E Pace but for now permanently on hold .. so one lost sale

Supposed to pick up my new car next week at the dealers, will look to see will it have this problem, is this common with every car or just some, and if so is it a quick fix by the dealer.

Hi powerhouse, with mine and tbe two cars in the showroom it's just the passenger door. Said they may have to get engineers from Jaguar in to fix, I'll post an update when I know more.
