Has ‘torque vectoring’ always been standard on all F types. If not when did it start and how good is it?

No it hasn't - I guess it came in at the same time as the instrument cluster upgrade.

Had it on the XE and found it quite good - but then with only 200ps it suited the plant right foot style of accelerating and changing direction.

Always wondered what anyone with experience of the mechanical and active diffs felt too.

And as good as the electric power steering on the XE was I still find the F-Type's hydraulic system just that bit more sinusoidal - if that makes any sense! Sort of like vinyl rather than digital.

But then I still have a stand-alone Digital to Analogue convertor on my incoming TV signal - maybe I'm just a bit of a dinosaur :)

Thanks all. I am just wondering how big an improvement it is to the cars cornering?

There's not a lot of info. on this on the F-Type specific pages.

A few bits of background info.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torque_vectoring

It reminds me a bit of Honda's rear wheel steer.
