Any one having problems with surface rust on their brake discs?

You can almost see mine rust before your eyes, just washed the car, and they rusted whilst I was running a chamois or it. All 4 are the same

Absolutely normal for it to do this on disks. My F Type and XF both do it as id my previous Z4 and countless cars before
After washing just move the car a few feet, brake and park up and it'll take the water off them

Is the car parked outside? I've always found cars more likely to get brake rust if they are.

Brake discs are cast iron which readily rusts. Drive it and touch the brakes and they’re shiny again.

Guys thanks for the replies, I'm neither new to owning cars or a newbie at maintaining them...my BMW X1 doesn't rust like this nor my 10 year old Ford Ranger, nor any of the other cars I've had in the past 35+ years, for cast metal to oxidise like this in less than 10 minutes is not "normal" when its had a little water sprayed on to them, common maybe in Jags, this is my first, can't think I noticed it on any of my Dads 3 jags.....Dealership service tomorrow and it will be mentioned.....will update

It may be the grade of cast iron used but as previously stated it’s normal and I’ve seen it on all my cars over the years.
