I know I'm lucky! And your lack of assumption is correct - I have the steel dinner plates to slow me down (shocking waste of fuel!).
Rusting brake discs
Thank you for pointing out my typo - the car was registered September 2020 - I have been out of action for some while due to my Wife taking very poorly and having to be admitted to Hospital and so I am catching up with your comments with interest.
I have completed 4560 miles in my F Type (2800 when collected last February) and rust rotors are still an issue.
If I clean the car - rusty rotors next day - if it rains - rusty rotors next day - and yet my Wife's car a VW T-Cross, Regd December 2020 has no real issue with rusty rotors - a sad reflection on the quality of the Jaguar brakes.
My F Tyoe is due for its first service next week with an Indeoendent Jaguar approved specialist in Derby that I have used previously with my XE and highly recommend and so will discuss options with them.
My car has to stand outside and I wonder if either wheel covers would help or a full exterior quality breathable cover would help.
I have had my calipers professionally painted in Italian Racing Red with a chrome Centre effect and Leaper by a really good Company in Draycott near Derby and will now enquire with him on the suggestions to have the rotors coated.
Otherwise rest assured Jag fans I am more than happy with my P300
