Route planner and Live not working

Anything F-Type related......

Hi all,
Got satnav working, micro sim loaded and working, created account and logged in via car set-up, but can’t get route planner app or Live working, any ideas anyone?

After you inserted SIM it should of popped up a message saying you have to enable data in all settings.

Presume you've done that and it says 4G on top left of head unit.

Yep, got 4g connection message in screen ....

I’ve never got route planner to work and I don’t think anyone has. Keeps saying email address not recognised.

I’ve had my car for a year and route planner has never worked. Remote and InControl work but route planner does not.
Look in ratings and reviews and a lot of comments saying it doesn’t recognise email.

I've got the same issue "Email address not recognised.". Very frustrating.

I follow this and it worked ok, although a bit surprised you can't use your Incontol login for this and you have to create a new one. Also the keyboard layout being different to the Incontrol one with some characters being behind other keys.

still puzzled. my car is a march 2016 just in case the nav system has changed. it must already have a sim in it because my phone knows where the car is when its way out of blue tooth range. but at the same time, the car doesnt show up as a wifi outlet on my phone. so whats happening here?

Looks like route planner does not work with older systems. Mine is 17MY and it doesn’t recognise my email nor let me set up a new one.
So frustrating that waze is not on InControl.
