2.0 ingenium engine servicing

Hi all. Having recently taken delivery of a 2.0 R Dynamic, had thought about taking about a service plan over 3 years which shows 3 services at price £799. However, reading the detail online seems to show this variant only needs servicing every 2 years or 21,000 miles!
Have emailed dealer to clarify but just be wary meantime

The Ingenium petrol should be serviced every 16.000 miles or 12 months whichever comes first as per your first screenshot.
I'm thinking your second screen shot might be an older version as it only mentions the "2.0 Ingenium engine".
The service intervals on the Ingenium Diesel are every 2 years or 21,000 miles.
The petrols only started early last year so maybe it's a hangover from the days when the only Ingeniums were diesel.

If you login to TOPIx you can see when your next service is due. It says 16,000 miles or 1 year on mine

Parrfect have you collected yours? If so where are the pics?! Also whats Topix?

Hello Just a quick question

On my FTYPE that I purchased last year I don't have that PDI inspection bit ? is this something that the dealer should have entered for me, the 1st service is due May

Have you registered with the online service history?

Bit of a pain with activation codes but once done you can access the full service history.

Hello Phil

I was registered .. and due to this post I noticed I had nothing entered

I phoned Jaguar customer relations .. who then phoned the dealer concerned .... 2 hours later I got a email saying all completed

I checked and sure enough the service data is in Topix

very pleased .. all due to the forum giving me the info

Picking it up tomorrow lunch time: Will take pictures and post. Couldn’t get it into my detailers till 4th April so it won’t be looking shiny till then as I’ve told the dealer only to jet wash it.
