Anyone fitted the chrome vents or mirror covers from the jag accessories book? If so can you post pics please?

@Gom jabbar.

If you go for chrome, try one option first : mirror covers OR bonnet vents. I didn't go for the mirror covers as my little Alfa MiTo has it.
All chrome would be a bit too much, exept for a very light coloured car like white or silver [ grey is already too dark I think..].

I post some pics of the MiTo so you get some idea. The chrome around the headlights mimicks the chrome vents, slightly..

If you are interested ; the MiTo has a MultiAir valve control, the grandmother of the UniAir system that the 2 liter F-Type has today.
It allows to seemless control the valves in the mapping, independent of a camshaft as the lifting is hydraulic, not mechanical.

I searched for various colours of the MiTo with chrome mirrors, there are plenty, much more then F-Types..

Turns out I was wrong : it looks kind of the same, not really dependent on the colour of the body.

Below its grey, not chrome. Maybe an idea to wrap them instead of buying chrome. Less costly and easy to undo... ;)

With black it looks good.. ..opinion ofcourse..

With brown tones I don't like the extra chrome..

Thanks all.

Daz - mine is also a black S so nice to see yours with the vents - I assume those are the Jag supplied vents? Also which wheels are those? - they look good.

Thought I'd logged on to the wrong forum then :)

Alfa's do have a certain style though.

Hi, yep they are Jag supplied and we're already fitted when I bought it. Not sure I would have fitted them retrospectively but I do like them, contrast nicely with the black and compliment the side vents and wheels (which are Cyclones I think)

Couple more pictures for you.

Cheers

Yep .. my next upgrade

just one question do they still effectively vent the engine heat ? or just cosmetic

the original vents have a large openings to vent well also can see the supercharged logo on the engine cover

Hi Kaspa, mainly cosmetic I would say as most of the vent hole is blanked off leaving only a small amount of mesh at the side.
