What is the point of Jaguar Assist. Been waiting over 3 hours now for them to arrive, surely they could provide a service at least comparable to the AA or RAC. Has anyone else had response time issues?

I've used them once, they contracted it out to a local recovery agent who were excellent.

Update: Took 4 1/4 Hours to get here, luckily we were at home,
Called at 10:30 - told they would be here between 12 and 2,
At 1:55 got a text saying they would be here at 2:10,
At 2:05 phoned to say they would get here at 2:30,
Finally arrived at 2:45!

Battery was just recharged to get the car going left to run half an hour, then checked charging ok, discharge rate etc. No explaination why the battery was flat after not using the car for a week.

Apart from wasting a days holiday i'm now left wondering when it'll happen again!

I thought they were whoever they could get locally. I didn't get the AA.

It's the AA who take the call and then maybe farm it out.
