I'd resist the temptation to keep starting the car if you can.
Two reasons, the first is that it takes a surprising length of time to put the charge back into a battery after it has started a vehicle, the second reason is condensation. When a vehicle is started condensation forms within the engine and particularly the exhaust, and unless the engine and exhaust get hot enough the condensate can pool which can then allow corrosion the start.
As suggested by previous posters, it would be better to get a CTEK or similar battery charger and use that.
Hope the leg/ankle repair themselves sooner than forecast.
