There is an online application that tracks an entire series of vehicles so that you can see what other F-Type owners average
Mine is a v8 "R" nick-named "Tipsy" in this link but you can see the averages for others with the smaller engines

I thought F-Type mpg would be similar to my old TTS, in which I averaged around 30 for daily commute (mainly town + some fast bits), and peaked at around 44 on a gentle holiday amble around Norfolk last summer.

So far my commute average in F-Type is around 20.
Got it to 32 once or twice on motorways.

The problem - if you can call it that - is that my right foot has become incredibly HEAVY in these last 4 weeks!
I also find myself putting car into dynamic mode as soon as I start her up!

I'm more interested in "smiles per gallon" right now than mpg.

Went for a spirited drive with sone friends today. Not shure what the mpg was on our way to a gocart track was, but it was not good = lots of fun.

However going back home alone, rather satiesfied (after gocart driving and a nice dinner), I thought I should find out what mpg I could achieve if driving "with great care" (using the cruise controll a lot).

Distance 90,3 km, average speed 80 km and fuel consumption 7.9 litre pr 100km (=37 mpg UK). Not bad with a V8 R ;)

Using my V6S since new over the last 10,410 miles with about a 55% Country Roads the remainder Motorway the average fuel consumption is 28.5 mpg......the very best ever on the motorway at a very steady 50 mph was 45.2 mpg.

Hmm, don’t think I’ve really got the hang of this 🤔
... I blame the TVR I was trying to keep a safe distance in front of.

S convertible with the AC on because its boiling, driving out of dynamic, sensibly i'm getting 33.7 MPG mostly A road, using Momentum 99. Much better than i expected. punctuated by short trips like a madman around 9mpg!

just done 1000 miles through France - sticking near to the speed limits. Brimmed the tank before I went and on return. The average was 30.9 mpg but that does assume that the mileage recorded is correct.

The readings on various trips went from 20 mpg to a best of 34 mpg. Almost all was in full auto and without using sport etc ie the basic setting.

If you drive the car "vigorously" you will be in the low 20s.

You can see from my fuelly reports that day-to-day my fuel economy is closer to 17MPG (US)

On a short break last week in Cotswolds, managed to consistently get around 36mpg on A-roads, driving in a reasonably restrained way (but not like a nun!!).

Tried in both dynamic & normal mode, and always in auto (no paddles).
And with air con on most of the time.

So really not too bad.
