Here's a typical commuting type journey, with a mixture of city congestion, fast dual carriageway and some B roads with the occasional full power overtake. Can't complain at that!

I trust you had the exhaust open for the Hindhead Tunnel.
The average speed check almost begs you to do several pulls from low speed 😎

Might have done 😉. The mpg on the return journey was a little bit less as I wasn't as well behaved! It was the tunnel that did it and just got me on that frame of mind 🤣.

As a comparison, pretty similar sort of journey type and length to Millwheels' today. SVR=32.4mpg vs P300=37.4mpg, circa 15%.

My V6 was usually bang in the middle of those two figures, on a long distance cruise.

This is the best result my InControl has shown up - but I already know it lies slightly (i.e. the claim doesn't match when you refill it to the click). Still, my head has been impressed with the capability for economy from a completely heart-driven purchase!

I achieved 31.4 mpg average in an SVR over 2-3 weeks covering 2290 miles on holiday, this included short bursts on the autobahn at 150 mph plus, however there was one leg of the holiday from Italy covering around 115 miles over about 2 hours where I averaged 41.6 mpg.
I have proof, see below.

I did Bristol to Telford a couple of days ago, 111 miles, 51mph av and saw the heady heights of 40.8mpg. Amazing!
