I have the base V6 and my insurance came in at £380. I’m 33 with 5 years no claims and have also put my other half on the insurance who is 28. That was with Admiral with £300 compulsory excess and £200 voluntary I think.

I’m assuming you’re buying one of the more powerful models....if you post details sure somebody will be able to give you a more helpful comparison than mine :)
Ahh this kills me.

I'm 28 with 9 years NCD. My base V6 is 1200 -_-

One of the very few things that get better with age - your car insurance premium. Just be thankful you can afford an F-Type at 28 & enjoy.

Thanks all. I appreciate the sharing of the post code checker. Looks like I’m in a high risk area, which must be due to recent crimes on the estate in terms of break ins and attempted car theft. Suspect the insurance risk guys must have reclassified the area recently, hence the change in premiums and lack of insurance guys wanting to insure me. I’m going to try calling some of the other insurance companies suggested as well to see about them quoting as you never know. Cheers

Lad that works with me (25) did some sample quotes this week for a 2014 V6 and got £900 from Esure. Interestingly the premium dropped a little bit further when 'use of another car' was included. Crawley area.

Mine is just in the green part of the low risk section.
Just tapped in NG2 which includes West Bridgford (deemed affluent) but shares with The Meadows (inner city gun toting gangbangers (see Jermaine Pennants autobiography).

Then tapped in NG12 mainly rural villages, not many heathens.

Both come in same ‘risk’. Could hardly get two differing geographic/demographic landscapes 🤔

From my sleepy little hamlet of <100 houses, to ex pit town of Cotgrave with its council estate... same postcode, million miles from each other in every other respect!

This is really where age, occupation and claims history comes into the equation.
