Are the quad tips on the R stainless or chrome plated? I want to clean them up but wary of ruining them. I suppose they are not removable?
Also are there any wonder chemicals to use on these, or is it best to use Solvol with a Mother's cone polishing mop?
All suggestions welcome lol.

Don’t know whether chrome or stainless but Autosol is excellent for either.

The V6 tips are stainless, so I would guess the V8 ones are the same. Autosol will get a mirror finish easily. An old motorcyclists tip is to use a bit of cornflake packet to polish with, which can turn dull alloy engine casings into mirror finish

Very good ....
Cornflake packet ?? Would I be correct to presume you are referring to the inner ‘plastic’ bag that keeps them fresh (and not the outer box)
Storm Grey V6 coupe, fun, fast, popping and crackling with smiles all the way ... missed more than I expected!

Thinking about it, (was a very long time ago with a Kawasaki Z1000), it probably was a Rice Krispies packet
The cardboard is used to apply/polish the Autosol, which turns black. The principle is a bit like using fine wet and dry paper I suppose, but the abrasive and moisture comes from the Autosol. Somehow it gave a better result than polishing with cloths or paper towels, probably because the cardboard is less absorbent.
