Hi Jimbo, yes I used the aerosol dynax s50 from bilt hamber. You will need to clean down and remove any flakey paint first. Fez. Black AWD 400 sport....

Does anyone know if the cross members are easy to remove. Going by the pics it looks like a couple of screws???

Hi Chicb, the pictures of the sprayed sub frame are mine, it was all careful sprayed up in place. Not sure it is such a good idea to start removing parts.

Here's the underside of my 2014 3.0 S with 30k on the clock. Its quite alarming surface corrosion. I reckon its easily solved with some wire brush and spray, but shockingly bad on an 80K car. Having said that, I also have a 2013 Discovery 4, which is also shockingly rusty on its chassis. Good old quality build from JLR. :evil:

Been under mine this week (2014 25k) and it was about the same as pictured, I’d already ordered the Dynax stuff so bit of wire brush and sprayed all bits I could get at whilst on ramps. Looks loads better now. Bit of peace of mind also.

Since we're all sharing our photos, here is my 2013 (26k) convertible having some protection treatment at my local independent Jag workshop, as the main dealer said that it didn't need treating as it wasn't structural!! Hmm..

Next on list is to have a moan at the main dealer about the leaking exhaust that they said was fine as well, just a bit of condensation!!

@Gareth.
Quite simply what you get with an all aluminum body and some iron bits bolted on : survival of the fittest...
The iron corrodes as its less 'noble' a metal as aluminum...
