Well it certainly does sound a good deal. I will be checking out when it’s renewal time. I hope the offer/service is as good as it sounds and there’s nothing in the small print.

Last year my Volvo only was £240, this year I added the F-Type and it was £275. So only £35 extra to add the F-type. Seems like a good deal to me. It was going to be £85 more, but by adding my wife, who never drives the F-type, it made it £50 cheaper.

I've got no connection to LV, just thought others might benefit from it....
Thanks for this!

I had a renewal come through from Direct Line for £1200 and I remembered your post so thought I'd check it out - LV did the same cover for £550!

Very pleased!

Well it's renewal time for me at the start of July.
I have 2 claims from over 18 months ago and have business use but live in an A rated post code area.

Last year with Morethan £596
Renewal with Morethan £861

Nothing has changed with my details since last renewal. Um.....

Compare the meerkat cheapest £1001!!
Morethan new quote £1233
Jaguar Insurance won't insure the car at all because it doesn't have a tracker.
Directline - £1144

What on earth has happened to car insurance over the past year???
400 Sport AWD - MY18 - Black, pano roof and thats about it 8-)

Ouch! That seems a bit extreme, sometimes having other named drivers will bring down the cost - maybe worth trying?

Ouch again! The only other thing I can suggest is the timing of your renewal. I read somewhere that renewing about 21 days before it’s due gets the lowest premiums and then it gets more expensive as you get closer to renewal date. Think it was on moneysavingexpert website. Hope you get a better deal!

Folks on the i-Pace forum seem to like Aviva for their EVs, worth checking?

Scott, have a look at occupation as well. I’m not saying be misleading about your job title but there are other descriptions which I’m sure you’ll fit into - this effects your premium

As others have said;
Additional drivers can lower or sometimes increase your premium - try both with & without your wife on the policy

Renewal timing is also key - play around with the date you want the cover to start. When I was looking it was £150 more to start the next day after currently policy finished vs 2 days after - obviously I just chose not to drive for 1 day and took the saving

For reference, I’m 27
10 yrs protected no claims, no points
V6s
Parked on my drive
Social & business use
12,000miles/yr
£900/yr - That’s with admiral
