I am still waiting for them to answer the email. When you Google their name there is ”Essex prestige autos” and ”Essex prestige”. Seems a little weird.

LHD in UK is always cheaper and non EU cars tend to have lower spec. So are cheaper

5 owners is not so good, nor is advertising as 2016 when it’s much older
Unknown country of origin and history is bad. You could tell if it had been crashed and repaired if it was a UK car..

To me this is a car for an expert to buy who can assess it themselves and is prepared to track its life, else there is the potential of a very expensive mistake

Subtle enhancements to create the car I wanted from SVR nose cone, 400 series side skirts & customised 'design' rear bumper, to heated SVR steering wheel and more

The dealer doesn’t seem serious. No answer yet and no real info about them on Google. Almost identical name to another company called ”Essex prestige”. And no photos from outside showing their building etc. I don’t know.

------------
It was registered in Dubai on 19/11/2013 with English/Arabic manuals from factory so that explains the left hand drive. There is no PDI recorded and no supplying dealer.

First Service then appears in UK

** So I guess odometer was changed from KM to MILES?
It was then registered on UK roads on 01-APR-2016 and taxed.

Service Alerts
--------------
2 outstanding alerts for this vehicle
Our records show that this vehicle was due a service 629 day(s) ago
Missing service record for the 32000 miles/24 months service.

** So it might have a full service history but not from Jaguar.

It next appears 05-MAY-2017 for an MOT - PASS
Mileage - 13,780 miles
Advisory notice item(s) - Both rear tyres worn to 1.6mm

It was at some point declared SORN and didnt have another MOT until 16-AUGUST-2018 - PASS
Mileage - 19,039 miles
Advisory notice item(s) - None

Hope that helps with some of the history of the car. I would get a full HPI car check to confirm whether it has declared as an import, accident, finance clear etc as that rear panel alignment is awful !!

EDIT - As it's been to COPART which is a salvage place according to the internet it doesn't look good. Run away.
400 Sport AWD - MY18 - Black, pano roof and thats about it 8-)

Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate it a lot.

I am pretty sure this is the very same car. Photos from 2013 in Dubai with the Storm rims it first came with and there it has no misalignment. So yes either damaged or the company that put that thing back there ruined it. Anyway thank you.

Some nice detective work there

Totally confirms my suspicion of a wrecked car, shipped around the globe and now appearing in the UK to sell on.
Even older that suspected
No service history
Likely changed mileage

This is a run to the hills example and as always if it’s too cheap then it’s not true...

Yes that’s my post on the Dubai post with the link to it. The car seems to have been going through a lot. I wonder if it really has such low mileage.

This is why this forum is so great!

(and run away from that car! Don't even give it a second thought. Pay a little more, ideally buy from an enthusiast and get some peace of mind!)
