Hi,

Will I be OK fitting a set of tyres in 265/35/20 and 295/30/20 on my AWD 5.0R Convertible?

The correct (oem) front size is 255/30-20.
With a 265 tire, it will have a little larger diameter. It might be ok, and I don't think it will rub anywhere.
Hopefully someone with more knowledge/experience will comment.

The size of the rear wheel is oem.

Thanks for the reply. I know the OEM is 255/30/20, but I have a set of brand new PS2 from my old car lying around, and I wanted to see if I could use them to replace the current tyres on the car.

Roughly speaking the car will ride 3mm higher
at 60mph the speedo will read 59.5mph
1% gearing change
3mm less arch and 20mm on inboard
Overall arguable that nothing to worry about

Check insurance though as fitting not standard sizes like this may invalidate the policy

Factory front size is 255/35r20
If your looking to go wider but keep the exact same height, 295/30r20 is the same height, but 1.6 inches wider. Don't ask me if theres enough clearance for that or not though lol

You can do a 275/30r20 and be .5 inches shorter but .8 inches wider. Just google a tire comparison chart that let's you play with different sizes aaaaand shows you a visual

Some odd answer here. Your rear is the same so ok. Your front will only be 5mm wider inner & outer. The height I will let you work out as 30 tyres are 30% of 255mm & 35 aspect is 35% of the width 265. So will be higher by ... you do the maths. As I'm in canaries at mo so brain not in gear.

Hi,
Recently bought a V6 S AWD and it came with Sottozero winter tyres,295 30 20 rear,275 35 20 front.
Now looking to put summer tyres on but the OEM size front is 255 35 20.What should I do?
Cheers

Go for the recommended sizes (295/30 rear, 255/35 front). Any deviation from that might make your insurers raise their eyebrows.
