Mine is absolutely louder on cold startups than warm startups.

Yes the V8 is the same, the bark on cold startups are louder than warm ones.

:The cold startup on a cold, frosty morning in the V8 is comical. The reverberations can be felt at the other side of the country I'm sure. :o

I know cars like the F-Type in V8 guise could draw complaints from immediate neighbours when the car is started - it happens to folk with less noisy cars. Thankfully, My neighbours are spaced a stone's throw away from me and we call have plenty of space around our houses... one of the positives of living in the country just outside a city.

There was a little delay blueone, but I will definitely get it tomorrow. I'm pretty excited to see how it is.

Finally got my cat on Satursday!

It's really amazing to drive and I can't help but keep grinning when driving it.

Concerning the sound I would say if it's really quieter than only by a really small margin. However the sound character is a bit different than before, it is deeper and more muffled, sounds kind of like a Boxer but I honestly like the tone more than before.

If you drive in Dynamic, S and with paddles you can pretty much control the pops and crackles, there are definitely not less than before but they also sound kind of deeper and not as shrill.

Congratulations on the car! Glad you’re enjoying it.

Bear in mind, if it’s a brand new car, the exhaust will need time to ‘wake up’. I’ve done 900 miles so far and the car already sounds much louder and more throaty than when I first got it. I’ve read on other forums people saying it took 1,500 miles for their exhaust to properly open up.

Enjoy.

Thank you, good to hear that you are still enjoying yours too.

You are right, I forgot to mention it, I noticed this with other cars too. I don't even have 1000 km / 600 miles on it yet. ;-)
