I really love this car, but it seem's that it's more suited to staying in the Garage and being pleased with the sound and looks.
Just today, I took it to a shopping centre and scratched the Mag Wheel on the pavement - my fault.
I suppose I'll have to get used to it, as something tell's me this won't be the last.
Have any encountered similar and do you make use of a MAG wheel repair, or just leave it ?

I had my silver ones powder coated in black. It makes it much easier to do an ‘invisible’ touch in repair. These knocks are always going to happen and you just can’t keep going back to the wheel specialists.

Now I just need to see if it's available in SOuth Africa or can get my hands on an equivalent.
Thanks for the tip

Philmay,
Would you be able to send me a picture of what your powder coated wheel looks like. The feeling on the gators are mixed.
I contacted a mag wheel repair shop and my options are getting that part polished, or powder coating (most practical) and diamond cutting - most expensive and impractical as I'll have this recurring problem.
I want to get the rim's sorted with the most practical solution as this will surely happen again.
The other option is to just leave it until the wheels have picked up some scratches and have it all done at once, like in a year. I don't drive it fast, so the chances of breaking a rim (severe damage) is slim.
I'd like members comments if this is something they get used to.
Keeping in mind this didn't even happen on a road, but in a parking lot.

If you have a car with 20” rims then you need to learn where the corners are. Sorry but it’s the reality of no protection from the tyres
My daughter doesn’t so she stuck with 18’s in her F pace for an easy life.
Personally I would not touch Gators being an ugly solution.
Some tyres have built in rim protectors. The Michelin 4s are good.
I’ve used powder coating in the past on polishEd rim lips and it can look good at a distance, but no substitute for polished metal.
I tend to accept a few minor marks and then do all 4 rims once every couple of years
