The second battery is a much smaller lithium iron device on the rhs of the boot floor. It’s a piece of electronic gadgetry that doesn’t look remotely like a battery!
Lift the battery lid out of the way, lift the boot plastic liner out.
If you have two batteries, Disconnect and tape up the pos.

My start/stop has never worked. I live near a level crossing so I turn the engine off manually if I'm stuck.

Petrol engines don't need Stop Start. After all, they produce CO2, which is plant food. I've pulled the connector in the boot to disable it permanently.
On the other hand, diesel engines produce nitrogen oxide and soot, which are pollutants that can kill.
