Hi all,

After 9200 miles of very calm driving of my F-Type 2016 R convertible , dealer says my stock Parelli 295/30 ZR20 meed replacement after only 9200 miles.

I called Parelli and they told me my tires were unrated for mileage , and were summer only. I live in Maryland , I dont drive in snow. So Parelli gave me a 25% discount if I buy there all season tire but I am not clear which model.

In the meantime , I have been reading about the Michelin Michelin PSS or Michelin Pilot 4S . Whats more there seems to be different tire sizes for front and back .
Bottom line:
Can someone help with a replacement tire that will last more than 9200 miles? Sincerely,

Alan Terlinsky

I've never got more than 10,000 miles out of any tyre on any of the three Jags I've had (F-Type is my 4th and only has 4,000 so far), so your 9,200 sounds like my kind of wear. And yes, your have 255/35ZR20 at the front and 295/30ZR20 at the back. Recommended tyre sizes for winter and summer should be in your manual.

I live in southern UK and haven't had the need for winter tyres - the temps don't go too low and we haven't had snow for quite a few years, global warming isn't all bad. ;)

Over 13,000 spirited miles and still 2mm left on the rear P0's, 5mm on the fronts.

Have you had your cars geometry checked?

4S are the tyre of choice for most, however whilst they offer a step change in performance, noise etc, they are still a summer tyre.

Thanks to this Forum and members more qualified than I, I learned something about tyres and their performance... Switching from OEM Pirelli to Michelin transformed (honestly) my 2016 Ftype s convert driving experience? For example... Gone (TG) is its rear / tail Pirelli tyre spin.
... like all beautiful things, it is best viewed topless! Definitely.
