Hi,

I'm sure debated to death but I'm hoping to get opinions on best tyre for the fronts on a V6S coupe.

I'm deciding between Pirelli P-Zero, Goodyear Eagle F1 and Michelin PS4.

Also, best prices on these tyres people have seen?

Thanks!

It’s normally advised to run the same tyres all round so safest answer is to say replace with the same ones as your rears

In reality as long as you stick to the same tyres per axle then you will be fine

My preference would be the Michelin Pilot sport 4S. I’m not a fan of my Pirelli’s but in fairness I haven’t tried the Goodyear’s

Costco is the best I’ve found - previous post below;

I needed two new rears in March. The fronts still had 4.5mm so went with another set of P-Zero to keep them all the same.

The difference in arriving on one illegal tyre and one at 1.7mm and leaving with a new set 8mm was amazing. Such a difference. And that's the issue with a lot of normal driving reviews. Swapping from a bald set to a new set of anything will be better.

If considering P-Zero make sure you get the new P-Zero and not the old one. The Pirelli Performance Centre in Burton Derbyshire is where I went. I've got a couple of pics somewhere.....

Quick pic of the Pirelli Performance Centre. They only take one booking an hour so only ever one car in at a time. Two people work on the car, no machine guns all done by hand.

Hunter 4 wheel alignment and tyre depths all measured automatically as you drive in.

I had two Michelin fitted by kwikfit mobile 10 days ago, about £330 and a free dashcam.
