I’ve decided I don’t like my chrome grill surround. The rest of the car looks good with chrome against the dark blue but I think the car looks soft and less sporty with the chrome grill surround.

Has anyone replaced the grill surround and if so did you do it at dealers/independent and how much did it cost?

You’d be better to buy a part off eBay and fit yourself
Bumper cover off but it’s just a logical jigsaw of bits of grill

I had mine wrapped gloss black you wouldn't know it weren't painted. And if you don't like it just peel it off. Cost about £50. The guy did it without removing too all I did was remove the number plate plinth for him.

Thanks both. Any ideas where you get the part from?

Re the wrap, that sounds like a better option. £50 to see how it looks is a bargain! Where did you get it done and do you have any before and after pictures?

Had it done at aplace in Doncaster but i suppose any good wrapper can do it. Best bit is yoy can just pull it off and your back to standard.

Thanks NAC63. Looks great!

Why is it that the car looks so much softer with the chrome grill surround? It’s my one and only regret with the car. The black surround looks so much better! Will ask around the wrap places near me and see what they reckon.

Nac63.... did you wrap or repaint the Jaguar badge in the grille ... looks great!
Storm Grey V6 coupe, fun, fast, popping and crackling with smiles all the way ... missed more than I expected!
