Hi All,

I’ve had some work done to the front end of my car by my local main dealer, was told last week that it’s ready for collection unfortunately after an inspection there were quite a few issues with the work carried out

Something I need help on is the front bumper, particularly the area behind the grille between top of bumper and the cross bar which your number plate sits on

Can anyone comment on the positioning of the grey foam pad which is behind the grille
- does it stick up above the number plate cross bar?
- How much of the grille does it cover?
- is it right that it blocks 80% of the radiator behind it?

Lost a bit of faith in the dealer so looking for some supporting evidence to go in with this afternoon as they claim it’s now ready again

Here is a picture of the foam pad from my car last week, looks too high and blocks 80% of the radiator but can’t remember what is looked like before! (Might just be me being paranoid)

Hopefully the other issues are now all fixed too!

Thanks very much, ignoring the honeycomb as a measure (clearly we have different sized grilles) I’d still say my foam bar is much higher than yours

Also mine is a 2017 Reg (2018my) so the front bumper grill may be different

Hi Rob,
Mine is a 2013, any help would be great!
Rejected the car yesterday anyway for other issues with the work so it’s with them for the foreseeable future
