Sorry for the questions but I went to see the car yesterday, and it just appears to have been a bit ‘unloved’

The car was owned by Paragon Fleet Solutions for 9 months. See here for who they are:

It doesn't look like a press car and typically these are VA/VE plates but the reg appears on cached Google pages coming back to URL's including the words "rental" so it might of been a hire car/rental. However I cannot deny or confirm that. Again read the Paragon link above. That might explain why it covered 10,000 miles in first 9 months and looks "unloved" maybe.

It is clear on PNC (Police National Computer). It has been off the road since November 2019. Perhaps a different reason it looks unloved.

It looks good in silver and red interior. As it's used approved that should offer some reassurances and you can push the dealer to extend the used approved warranty from 1yr to 2yrs to settle the deal and for your piece of mind.

I am going to look at a V8R at Sytner BMW tomorrow morning and wondered if you could you have a look at the original specification and history on MX14 UAV. VIN number SAJAC63H2FMK14734.
I have looked on the online service history and it has missed it's 2019 service, but is there anything else in it's history should know about?

Hi Gary,

Interesting that it was 5 months late on its second MOT - whoops!
But not an issue as it passed with no advisories.

Latest MOT was done early (assume by selling dealer) and, as 3 tyres were advised only 2,110 miles before, it should be wearing a pretty new set of boots all round at present.

As mentioned check it's got 4 new tyres and front pads done as they appeared on last MoT.

Usually when simpleR finds stuff it shows how abused the vehicle has been, so I'd say it's a positive(ish) thing!

Thanks for the info, but the car wasn't what I was looking for. I think I need to look for a Jaguar approved used car. I'm in no rush and might wait to see what happens to prices later in the year.
