Hi after posting on the intros page and getting a few questions and requests for info on my project I am setting this post up in Main Forum and will try and update as my project progresses.

The start is a have bought a 2015 AWD V8 F Type with 9000 miles on clock and good spec of extras. It was written off and now starting the rebuild. Target is to complete rebuild for target of £30K including car purchase cost.

It appears front has been swiped across by another vehicle we had a good check before buying and after initial strip down so far better than we expected. Chassis rails only bent after subframe but subframe does have cracks so this will be replaced.

Making good progress on replacement parts at on or below budgeted cost, The main cost issue is the plastic air filter boxes which go for £600 each second hand so hate to this what they are new,

My main decision I have to make soon is what bumper to put on? I really like the new facelift V6 bumper and have looked at an SVR bumper but don't think it will look right with rest of car and now other option is new facelift V8 bumper which I initially did not like but it is growing on me and will help with resale although I plan to keep this car for many years. Keen to hear what people think see attached ppt file with bumper options.

Getting stuck into it from next week and would hope it can be done maybe for Xmas but I am in no rush.

Will keep you posted

Great project and will follow with interest.
I updated my bumper and elected for the SVR version. Easy fit with a bit of fettling for the lower rad and looks (IMHO) the best of the lot.
Mine's on a dark grey and works really well

Great stuff, looking forward to it. Maybe you could post pics from all round the car before you start in order to give us a reference.

Why on earth don't you consider other options?
£300 for both sides and I could have this covered using Cones, or do you have to keep it OEM?

Latest pics with subframe out and as stripped back as we need.

New subframe all ready so can now start slowly building back up.

Making good progress on parts just need a few direct from Jag but have a few contacts

You're a braver man than me!

Out of interest, where did you mansge to get dimensions for the front fore/aft members to enable you to straighten them? I see numbers on them written in white paint pen.
