Incontrol issues

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else has experience the issue I'm having with my Incontrol system...

Long story short - I have downloaded all the apps (remote, Route Planner, Jaguar Apps) and created a user account for them. I can use the remote no problem (see journeys, location of vehicle, etc.) I can also use the apps (Android play works fine).

My issue is with the Route Planner. When I try to use it, It says that I haven't added my vehicle and need to log-in via the car.

This is where the problems start - In the car, when I try to log-in to the navigation system, I get the following error message (see image)

Creating the account went without a hitch, I just cannot log-in.

I've been back to the dealers and we have removed my account twice, removed me from the car twice and still no joy. I've even had a software update which has not fixed the issue.

I contacted Jaguar via Facebook and they said I might need the dealers to perform a VSS procedure (no idea what this is, neither do the dealers!!!)

Anyway, It's booked in next week for then to bottom it out

Just wondered if anyone on here had any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Mine is saying this currently, and I understand it to be the need to login online to your account Add a vehicle, enter the VIN etc, and then press a button inside the car for 10 seconds to link the account to the car.

But I haven't done mine yet as only just got the Sim card in it, so cant be sure if it works or I may be completely wrong, but currently never linked mine and it says exactly the same thing,

Yeah - that's all been done, by me and the dealer (twice). They have no idea what the issue is, so going to get some help from Jaguar next week to get to the root cause.

I started to see the same message on my Evoque at the weekend and turns out my 12 month Three sim had expired
New one on order so will know when home at the weekend if that cured it

To me the message displayed is just misleading

The Incontrol system for the app has been causing a lot of issues recently with journeys not being recorded etc.
It's being mentioned across other forums.
It threw another wobbler this morning as a lot of people are reporting journeys are straight lines etc.
So it could be that some of the issues are to do with that although the app is a separate sytem to the route planner with sign in on the nav.

I've had this problem MY2018 and it turned out to be the Sim card. It must be a data only sim not voice inserted into the centre console port.
You need two accounts one set up by dealer for jaguar remote and and then one for Nav at Jaguar here to operate the jaguar Nav app on phone and send destinations to.
If all that is ok it also depends if you have a Jaguar Plan for map updates and live traffic. ( This may be only with touch pro)

I had this issue when my Jaguar supplied sim card was not registered and set up properly. I swapped for a THREE sim card and it all started to work straight away.

Had a similar problem when I first got my car.
My issue was that the SIM card has to be activated and registered from the car itself. If you register it, as I did from the home computer it will not work.
Dealer provided a replacement SIM and we did everything from the car and its wifi hot spot.
