booked in for warranty triage on Tuesday 26th November - i'll let you know how it goes

So the dealership has taken photos and will be sending the report off - told me not to expect a quick response - 3 weeks

Not to concerned about the wait as long as job is done - photos attached from various parts of the roof

At least it’s being looked at, replacement panel should do the job unless they want to try polish etc

must be quite a job to replace the panel? would have thought all interior trim covering roof would have to come off as well as any sealant / seals

I’ve not done it myself but I’ve seen it done - panel is just bonded on, drop the headliner, relatively simple but it’s not quick and is pricey

so just over 3 weeks have passed and haven't heard a thing from dealership - rang them up today and person dealing with issue on holiday now until new year - in meantime blotches have got worse

Certainly looks like air behind the lacquer problem. Definitely a full replacement as I cannot see them sending that to the paint shop

Still no response - will give it to end of week then email Jag - is there a particular e-mail i should use for warranty issues

Maybe threaten to post the pictures somewhere that will go viral. Maybe make them sit up & sort out your problem.

Bit excessive in my opinion. Why not just go back into the dealership and escalate?

Cars under warranty, shouldn’t be an issue
